It's been a few years since the rapper last toured Europe and played concerts. At his last show here in Oberhausen in 2017, Drake surprised his fans with none other than The Weeknd as his support act.

This year, PartyNextDoor will really heat things up for the fans before megastar Drake finally takes to the stage.

The internationally acclaimed rapper and songwriter has thrilled crowds in the past with rousing live performances and chart hits.

Aubrey Drake Graham, alias Drake, is currently regarded as one of the most influential musicians in the hip hop/R'n'B genre. The Canadian gained international fame through his music; in America, he was previously active as an actor in the series Degrassi: The Next Generation. The rapper received support from the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. Drake's debut Thank Me Later was released in 2010, featuring high-calibre acts such as Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj. Just one year later, Drake dropped the follow-up Take Care, which was honoured with a Grammy. All eight studio albums (as of 2025) have climbed to the top of the charts.
