Palace Tickets: Fifth Album 'Ox' and What Comes Next for the London Band
Palace tickets are among the most searched for any British guitar band of their generation, and with good reason. The London trio of Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner and Matt Hodges has built one of the most devoted followings in contemporary alternative rock, releasing four studio albums since 2016 and consistently selling out headline venues across the UK and Europe. Their fifth album, OX, arrives on September 18, 2026, via Palace Presents and AWAL. Recorded in Deptford with longtime producer Adam Jaffrey, OX is a 10-track record drawing on the sounds of The Band and Townes Van Zandt, and was announced alongside lead single Kid. No European tour dates have been confirmed for 2026 or 2027 at the time of writing.Palace formed in London in September 2012 and signed to Fiction Records after early blog exposure brought them to wider attention. Their debut album So Long Forever followed in 2016, with Life After arriving in 2019, Shoals in 2022, and Ultrasound in April 2024. The band has appeared at Glastonbury and Coachella, and their last UK headline run ended with a sold-out show at the Hammersmith Apollo, confirmed by the Somerset House Summer Series press release in 2026. OX marks a new phase of full independence for the band, released entirely on their own terms. Songs like Greyhound, from the 2025 EP of the same name, and the new single Dream On, released in July 2026, show a band at the peak of its craft. Given their track record, any European dates announced in support of OX are likely to sell quickly.
