About jan SEVEN dettwyler
jan SEVEN dettwyler tickets are on sale now for the Acoustic Stories II tour, with eight confirmed shows across Switzerland this autumn. On 13 and 14 September 2026 he plays Kaufleuten in Zürich, followed by Altes Kino Mels on 26 September, OldCapitol in Langenthal on 29 October, and Marabu in Gelterkinden on 30 October. On 7 November 2026 he takes the Südpol stage in Kriens. The year closes with Soul Christmas 2026, two nights at The Hall in Zürich on 8 and 9 December alongside The Kingdom Choir. The Musicdays Stäfa date is already sold out, so early action matters for all remaining shows.
Born Jan Dettwyler on 18 October 1978 in Wohlen, Aargau, the Swiss soul and R&B artist has built one of the most consistent live careers in central Europe. His debut album Dedicated To... appeared in 2002. He has since released 13 studio albums and four live albums, logging more than 1,000 headlining shows across two decades of touring. Four of his Swiss albums, including Home (2007) and Like a Rocket (2009), earned Gold certification in Switzerland, according to hitparade.ch. In 2009 he received the Prix Walo in the Pop/Rock category, and in 2017 the Swiss Music Artist Award, voted by fellow Swiss musicians. In 2006 he became the first European artist to open the Sundance Festival in the USA. His 2024 album Schwarz auf Grün marks his thirteenth studio record and the first under his current artist name jan SEVEN dettwyler. The Acoustic Stories II format strips the show back to an intimate acoustic setting, which has driven strong demand: Stäfa sold out in advance.
