Born on 18 February 1971 in Gamonal, Spain, Kelly grew up as a street musician travelling through Europe with his family. For The Kelly Family he co-wrote songs including Nanana, Cover the Road and Blood. Since 2007 he has been touring under his own name with a rotating collective of fellow street musicians known as The Streetorchestra. Their most recent studio output, the live album Live: Back On The Street, was released on 22 December 2023 via Vertigo Berlin under licence to Universal Music GmbH and documents the full range of folk classics and original Kelly material the band brings to the stage.
