In a March 2026 interview reported by Blabbermouth, Dirkschneider confirmed the album was already finished. U.D.O. was founded in Solingen in 1987, immediately after Dirkschneider left Accept, and has since released 19 studio albums. Their most recent record, Touchdown (2023), reached number 4 on the German album chart, their highest chart position to date. The Triple Anniversary Tour setlist covers the full span of the band's career, from classic cuts to material from the new record. With 32 cities and a career now spanning four decades, this is the largest U.D.O. European outing in years.
